I told the buyer that I would get back to him as soon as possible when I get the funds in my hands, and asked if he could pre-emptively shut down the listing. I contemplated jumping off a bridge before realizing that there was an option to instantly transfer funds from PayPal to my debit card for a measly fee of 25 cents. I quickly asked if the seller would take money via PayPal Gift, to which the seller responded that he didn't have a PayPal account. Then I realized that I was waiting for my new debit card to come back (I had lost it and pre-emptively locked down the account whilst waiting for a replacement card), and had $20 in my other account that I rarely use. Testing to see if he was, I asked, 160? At this point, I realized my mistake that I made too many times - not taking the deal right away and having the item taken away from my hands from another buyer.īut the seller replied immediately "Nope, 175 and it's yours." I thought, great, I should be good to go. The seller responded, "175 and it's yours." I thought he was joking. I thought to myself, man, maybe I can get it a bit cheaper? I sent $150 as a way to lower the seller's asking price, and maybe buy it for $250.
A 2012 i7 Mac Mini with 1TB HDD and 8GB of RAM in amazing condition (It had a few marks that I later wiped off with alcohol) for $300. Well when I woke up early this morning and checked a garage sale app and searched "Mac Mini," I was absolutely shocked at what I found. It was too big! I have a slightly larger desk, but having a 27" monitor and a 27" iMac left little room on my desk. If I left it on while I was gone for work, my bedroom got considerably warmer to where I had to shut it off and turn on the fan (I have a Windows desktop on and it didn't generate as much heat when left alone). That thing was a beauty, but some things led me to continue my search for this Mac Mini: 1. I posted a few weeks ago about getting an iMac 27" 2009.
